*IF YOU ARE UNSURE WHAT TO USE AS YOUR PERSONAL FAVICON OR YOU ARE NOT THAT COMPUTER SAVVY THIS IS WHERE ICONS ARE HELPFUL.
Icons are the perfect size for favicons and we just happened to feature a bunch of different ones on one of our "Download Days". If you are still unsure about what to use, our suggestion is just your initials or company initials/simplified logo, since the size of favicon has to be small.

The following link is great step by step instruction on installing your personal favicon:

CREATE YOUR OWN FAVICON

You can use other free hosting services to host your custom favicon, but you don’t want to use an image hosting service that deletes images after so many days. Using Blogger.com to host the images works well, but you could also use Google Page Creator, or even your Flickr account.

WE SUGGEST NAMING THE IMAGE "FAVICON FILE" TO EASILY RECOGNIZE
Just remember that adding your personal favicon to blogger is a bit of a hack

Have fun adding your custom favicon to your Blogger.com blog!

CELEBRITIES ON ETSY?

We have all heard that celebrities shop on etsy, but some of them do sell. While looking for something specific I came across one that sells her craft wares and for a good cause....CHARITY!
Most people know that Rosie ODonnell loves crafting and have seen her huge "Craft Room" in her house, but she has a shop on Etsy.
All proceeds go the The Maravel Arts Center in New York as well as in conjunction with her own charity "Rosie's Broadway Kids" and she matches dollar for dollar what she raises on the site.

Company Mini Booklet: A Tutorial

These Mini Booklets are a great way to company "freebie" or "marketing item" for your business. Made with household items ( white glue, clamps, and paper) they are easy to make and can be a one of a kind promotional tool....it is also a way to recycle and reuse all those sheets/scraps of paper that you have and hate to throw away. I suggest making them business card size, that way you can you one of your business cards as the cover and all your info is already on it.

a note: if you need the clamps, try your local Hardware store like Home Depot or Lowes and Walmart/Target has them as well in the mechanic section.

PRETTY PRETTY PACKAGING

This lovely set of packaging comes from Bloom Cosmetics, an Australian Beauty Brand .
Though the packaging is simplistic in it's design, the use of pattern and pastel make it very cohesive and just darn pretty.

This can be easily achieved in your own packaging, by just wrapping in pretty patterned paper and add your own custom label (company or personal)
