NOT YOUR GRANDMOTHERS DOILEY


I love doilies ...especially the paper ones. There are so many uses for them besides coasters or draped over some random piece of furniture.
I think that these DIY Doily Envelopes via Ruffled are one of the best versions as they use vellum to back them. This clear vellum makes the insert easier to slide in and out as well as making the envelope crisp and more durable.

Soda Pop Ice Cream:



Ingredients                                                                                                                            
  • 4 C cold soda pop, any flavor
  • 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 C whole milk
  • 8oz tub of Whipped (Cool Whip or equivelant) cream ( optional variation)
 
Instructions                                                                                                                            
  • Mix all ingredients together and pour into 2 qt. ice cream maker.
  • Freeze as directed
  • Place in freezer after finished to harden up
